1. Agreement
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the BeepDash mobile application ("App"), a Mandooist app operated by Jason Reeve ("we", "us", "our"), based in Australia.
By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. The service
BeepDash plays timed audio cues for shuttle run fitness tests, such as the 20 m multi stage fitness test and the Yo-Yo intermittent recovery test, records your results on your device, and estimates VO2 max and fitness ratings from them.
The full test is free. BeepDash VIP is an optional one off purchase that unlocks extra features. Purchases are processed by Apple or Google and confirmed through RevenueCat.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EU) to use the App yourself. A parent, teacher or coach may run tests for younger people, and is responsible for supervising them.
4. Health and safety
A shuttle run test is maximal exercise. Warm up, use a safe, non slip surface with clear space at each end, and stop if you feel pain, dizziness or unwell. Check with a doctor before testing if you have any health condition or concern.
VO2 max, ratings and calorie figures are estimates from published formulas. They are not medical advice or a diagnosis, and they depend on accurate distances, timing and profile details.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to reverse engineer or tamper with the App, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
6. Intellectual property
The App, its design and our branding are owned by us or our licensors. Your results remain yours.
7. BeepDash VIP
- The price is shown in the App before purchase.
- BeepDash VIP is a one off purchase, not a subscription. It is charged once to your Apple ID or Google account and does not renew.
- VIP stays with your store account: use Restore purchase in the App after reinstalling, or on a new phone signed in to the same account.
- Refunds follow Apple App Store or Google Play policies. We do not process refunds directly.
- VIP features may change over time. We will not remove core paid benefits you reasonably relied on without notice.
8. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Audio timing depends on your device and speaker: use the Audio delay setting if beeps sound late through a Bluetooth speaker.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law and the law where you live, we are not liable for injury, loss, or indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim related to the App is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or AUD $50 if you paid nothing.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms and will change the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You submit to the non exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
