RouteMap

Your full activity history, on one beautiful world map.

Every run, ride, hike and walk you have ever recorded, drawn as one map you can zoom, filter, frame and share.

See everything at once

Your whole history, one map.

Every GPS-tracked run, ride, hike and walk appears as a route line on a single map. Zoom out for the big picture of everywhere you have been, then zoom in until you can see which side of the street you took.

Search any place on earth to check whether you have been there, and pin the activities you are proudest of to favourites. Every route card has an eye too: hide a route from the map and it is kept, never deleted, still counted in your totals and back with one tap.

Collections

Every stage of the trail, together.

Group routes into the adventures that matter: every section of a long trail, every ride of a holiday, every race in a series. Each collection has its own colour, its totals for distance, climb and time, and an optional target to work towards.

Show a collection on its own map, replay it, or export it as an image. Building one is quick: RouteMap suggests the routes that start or finish where yours do, so a trail walked in sections comes together in a tap. Free accounts keep one collection; VIP has no limit.

Filter your world

Narrow it to a year, a trip, a sport.

Filter by activity type, country, date range or distance. Perfect for a year in review, a single holiday, or every ride over a hundred kilometres.

Tap any route to open it: distance, moving time, elevation and average heart rate, with a link straight to that activity on Strava.

The Timeline

Watch your map grow, month by month.

Tap the clock and your routes play out month by month, from your first activity to your latest. Drag to any month to see where you had been by then, change the speed while it plays, and choose how far older routes fade.

Collections replay too, so a long trail builds up section by section. Free plays your last twelve months; VIP plays every year.

Route style

Colour by sport, year, distance or climb.

Every sport has its own colour, and you can change any of them. Or colour the whole map by year to see how your routes spread, by distance to pick out the long days, or by climb to find the hills.

Choose a palette or four colours of your own, set the line weight and opacity, and the look carries into your exports. Sport colours are free for everyone; the rest of Route style is part of VIP, and you can try it on your own map first.

Make it yours

Dark, light, satellite, topo.

Four map styles, with place labels on or off, so the same routes can read as a clean diagram or sit on real satellite imagery.

Kilometres or miles, your choice.

Export and share

A map worth framing.

Frame any part of your map in landscape or portrait, choose which details to print, and save a clean image to your photo library or share it straight to friends. VIP exports carry no watermark and can be map-only.

Your routes are yours: download any activity as GPX, or bring GPX files and your Runkeeper export onto the same map. When the same outing comes from two places, RouteMap shows it once and keeps the other copy out of the way.

Your numbers

How far, how long, how many countries.

Total activities, total distance and moving time, a year by year line, your totals for each sport, a country breakdown, and your favourite spot: the place your routes pass through most.

Free and VIP

RouteMap is free. VIP goes further.

The free app puts your last twelve months on the map with no time limit and no account fee. VIP is an optional upgrade for the whole timeline and the extras.
