Account deletion

Last updated 5 September 2026

You can delete your RouteMap account from inside the app in a few taps, or by asking us. Both are described here. Neither needs a reason.

Delete your account in the app

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Scroll to the account section and tap Delete account.
  3. Confirm. The app deletes your account, your Strava link and all data on our servers, then returns to the sign-in screen as if freshly installed.

This cannot be undone. If you only want to remove Strava and keep your account, useDisconnect Strava in Settings instead.

Or ask us

If you no longer have the app installed, or cannot sign in, send us a request from the email address the account is registered under, with the subject line "Delete my RouteMapaccount". We reply to that address to confirm it is really you, then delete the account. Using the registered address is how we check the request is yours; we cannot act on a request from a different address. If you signed up with Strava, Google or Apple and are not sure which email that is, tell us your Strava athlete name instead.

Send the request by email at support@mandooist.com.

What gets deleted

Deletion is immediate for the live database and completes within 30 days for backups. After that we hold nothing tied to your account. Purchase records stay with Apple, Google and RevenueCat under their own policies; VIP is tied to your store account and can be restored if you sign up again.

Revoking RouteMap from your Strava account as well is a good idea. Open Strava, go to Settings, then My Apps, and remove RouteMap. We cannot do that side for you.

What stays on your phone

Deleting the account does not reach into your phone. The app clears its own cache when the account is deleted, and uninstalling removes the rest. Map images you saved to your photo library are yours and stay where you put them.
